Tammy Crowchild is the founder of "Healing Spirit Within." Drawing upon her personal journey of overcoming substance misuse and navigating mental health challenges, Tammy serves her community with warmth, compassion, and dedication. Raised by her grandparents, the late Edith and Isaac Crowchild, on Tsuut’ina Nation, she learned the importance of walking the world in a good way with every breath we are blessed with.

With over 23 years of experience, Tammy has been instrumental in providing accessible resources and support to individuals battling substance misuse and intergenerational trauma. She seamlessly integrates her own experiences and Traditional Teachings into her work, offering a holistic approach grounded in empathy. Tammy's commitment to honesty, humility, and sincerity shines through as she continues to create healing spaces within the Tsuut’ina Nation, Calgary, and Vancouver communities, supporting those facing addiction and trauma challenges on their path to wellness.

Bernie Gladue is the founder and  a proud member of the Mistasiniy First Nations and Sahtu Dene, originating from the northern regions of Alberta and the Northwest Territories. With a rich background in community engagement and support services, Bernie is a highly skilled and motivated individual dedicated to making a difference.

Throughout his decade-long professional journey and nearly three decades of altruistic dedication, Bernie has excelled in various roles such as Coordinator, Relapse Intervention Resource Specialist, Facilitator, and volunteer for vulnerable populations. Living with his family on the Tsuut’ina First Nation, he embodies a holistic approach to community well-being.

Bernie’s expertise shines in his ability to build meaningful relationships, coordinate impactful events, mentor others, and facilitate transformative programs. His diverse skill set includes working with various populations, adept crisis intervention, and strategic program development.

Certified in Community Addictions Training, Mental Health First Aid, Wilderness First Responders, and ASIST, Bernie’s commitment to continuous learning and growth is evident. His unwavering dedication to creating a positive impact and empowering those around him highlights his passion for fostering change and building a brighter future for all.

Sandie is a gifted Medium, Intuitive and crystal healer, fulfilled by her lovingly committed journey of service. She continues to nurture her gifts through ongoing training and practice to provide clarity, healing and wisdom to others. 

 

This has successfully allowed her to bring Spirit, insight, and healing to her many new and long-time clients for over 29 years.

As you sit in a session with Sandie, you are completely calmed and grounded by her presence. This allows you both to work together to make the highest connection to spirit and gain intuitive wisdom to help guide your life. 

 

Through one-to-one sessions,  Sandie is able to help connect you with spirit for the messages intended for your growth and healing. 

Crystal Gladue, known by her spirit name Waseyaw Ahcakos Iskwew, or Shining Star Woman, is a dedicated Reiki Master in the Japanese Usui style of Reiki healing. In addition to her expertise in Reiki, Crystal is also a registered massage therapist, blending her skills to offer comprehensive holistic healing services.

As a spiritually-centered business owner, Crystal operates both from her office and travels to various locations where she is called upon to provide her healing touch. Her practice is deeply rooted in her heritage, coming from a long line of lodge holders and spiritually connected elders. This profound connection to her ancestry has guided her on a divine path to be of service to others.

Crystal looks forward to meeting and serving each of you, bringing holistic healing and spiritual guidance to all she encounters.
